ENVIRONMENTAL CREDENTIALS

 

DynaGard has re-written the environmental testing requirements as used by the US Navy. 

The Navy uses a test they term an LC50 Test.

The term LC50, Lethal Concentration to kill 50% of the test specimens in a given amount of time (24 and 48 hours usually) has been around for awhile.

 

The LC50 Test is a methodology used to determine the Lethal Concentration to kill 50% of the test specimens in a given amount of time (24 and 48 hours normally)  

• The LC 50 Tests are the definitive tests performed for any wire rope lubricant.
• KIRKPATRICK tested our DYNAGARD using the highly sensitive Microscopic Estuary Shrimp Species Mysidopsis Bahia for the Bio-Aquatic Testing
• This  Microscopic Estuary Shrimp Species is Many times more sensitive than, the earlier Test species which was a hardier fish specimen.
• Our test was conducted fro the entire 48 Hours.

The test species we introduced is now specified by the U.S. Navy.

(We have US Navy Approval to the new MIL-PRF-18458C)

Our LC50 testing incorporating the highly sensitive Microscopic Estuary Shrimp Species Mysidopsis Bahia into the Bio-Aquatic Testing. This is what we introduced into Government testing. Prior to this they were using limited testing using hardier fish specimen.
